Your full name, phone number, email address, residential or business address, and suburb.
Service information
Details about the property where services are to be performed, service requirements, site access information, and job specifications.

Communication records
Records of phone calls, emails, SMS messages, enquiry form submissions, and other correspondence with our team.
Website usage data

Business information
ABN, business name, trade references, and relevant business details for commercial, strata and trade clients.

We only collect personal information that is reasonably necessary for us to provide our services, respond to your enquiries, manage our business operations, and comply with our legal obligations.

Where possible, we collect personal information directly from you. In some circumstances we may collect information from third parties such as property managers, builders, strata managers, or referring partners, where you have consented to this or it is otherwise permitted by law.

03

How we collect your information

We collect personal information through the following methods:

  • Our website enquiry and quote request forms, including any files you attach

  • Email correspondence to our business email addresses
  • SMS and text message communications

  • Social media platforms where you engage with our business
  • Cookies and analytics tools when you browse our website

You may choose to interact with us anonymously or using a pseudonym where it is lawful and practicable to do so. In most cases, however, we will need your personal information to provide you with a quote, perform services, or respond to your enquiry.

04

Why we collect and use your information

We collect, hold and use your personal information for the following primary purposes:

  • To respond to your enquiries and provide quotes for our services
  • To schedule, perform and manage electrical, air conditioning, refrigeration, solar, EV charging, data, communications, security, Level 2 ASP and related services at your property
  • To process payments, issue invoices and manage billing
  • To communicate with you about your service, appointment reminders, job progress updates and follow-up maintenance

  • To handle complaints, disputes and warranty claims

We will not use your personal information for purposes other than those listed above without your consent, unless required or authorised by law.

05

Who we share your information with

We may disclose your personal information to the following third parties in connection with the operation of our business:

ServiceM8
A job management platform used to schedule, track and manage service jobs. We share customer contact details, service addresses, job specifications and any files you upload, so our electricians can complete the work.
GoHighLevel
A customer relationship management and marketing platform used to manage customer communications, follow-ups and campaigns. We share contact information, enquiry details and communication preferences.
Stripe
A payment processing platform used to securely process card and electronic payments. We share card details and billing information solely to process your payment. Stripe is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1.
Supabase
The secure database and file storage behind our website. Enquiry details and uploaded files are held in access-controlled storage, and links to those files are time-limited.
Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Ads
Website measurement and advertising tools. These receive de-identified usage data about how our website is used and which enquiries originated from an advertisement. They do not receive your uploaded files.

We may also disclose your personal information to:

  • Our professional advisers, including accountants, lawyers and insurers, where necessary for business operations
  • Regulatory bodies, government authorities or law enforcement agencies where required by law
  • Specialist tradespeople we engage to assist with your service — only to the extent necessary to perform the work

Cross-border disclosure: some of the platforms we use (including GoHighLevel, Stripe and Google) may store data on servers located outside Australia, including in the United States. By providing your personal information to us, you acknowledge that it may be transferred and stored overseas. We take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients handle your information in accordance with Australian privacy standards.

06

Direct marketing

We may use your personal information to send you information about our services, special offers, seasonal maintenance reminders or other updates we believe may be relevant to you. We will only send direct marketing communications where:

  • You have consented to receive such communications; or
  • It is otherwise permitted by law — for example, where you are an existing customer and the communication relates to similar services.

Every marketing communication we send includes a clear and functional unsubscribe option. You may opt out at any time by:

  • Clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email
  • Replying "STOP" to any marketing SMS
  • Contacting us directly using the details in section 12

07

How we store and protect your information

We take the security of your personal information seriously. We implement physical, electronic and administrative safeguards to protect your information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. These measures include:

  • Encrypted data transmission (SSL/TLS) across our website and online forms
  • Private, access-controlled file storage for anything you upload, with time-limited links issued only to the systems and staff who need them
  • Password-protected access to all business systems, CRM platforms and job management software
  • Restricted access — only authorised team members who need the information to perform their role can access it
  • PCI-DSS compliant payment processing through Stripe; we do not store full card numbers on our own systems
  • Regular review and updating of our security practices

While we take all reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we are committed to protecting your information to the highest practical standard.

08

Data retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. Specifically:

Customer records and service history
Retained for a minimum of 7 years to comply with Australian tax and business record-keeping obligations, and to support warranty claims.
Enquiry data where no service was provided
Retained for up to 12 months after the last communication, after which it is securely deleted or de-identified.
Uploaded files
Retained with the related job or enquiry record and deleted on the same schedule.
Marketing consent records
Retained while your consent is current and for a reasonable period after you unsubscribe, for compliance purposes.

When personal information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to securely destroy or permanently de-identify it.

09

Cookies and website tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to improve your browsing experience and to analyse website traffic. Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit our website.

Essential cookies
Necessary for the website to function properly, such as form submissions and page navigation.
Analytics cookies
Google Analytics 4, deployed through Google Tag Manager, helps us understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it.
Advertising cookies
Google Ads conversion tracking tells us which advertisements led to an enquiry. We do not use them to identify you personally.

You can control and manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse cookies, delete existing cookies, or alert you when cookies are being sent. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of our website.

These third-party services operate under their own privacy policies, which we do not control.

10

Your rights — access and correction

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

Access
Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
Correction
Request correction of any personal information we hold about you that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.

To make an access or correction request, please contact us using the details in section 12. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe — generally within 30 days. In most cases access will be provided free of charge, though we may charge a reasonable fee to cover administrative costs for complex or voluminous requests.

In some circumstances we may refuse access — for example, where access would unreasonably affect the privacy of others, or where we are legally required to withhold the information. If we refuse, we will provide written reasons and inform you of the avenues of review available to you.

11

Complaints

If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles or mishandled your personal information, please contact us directly in the first instance so we can investigate and resolve your concerns, using the details in section 12.

We take all privacy complaints seriously. We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint within 5 business days and aim to resolve it within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC): www.oaic.gov.au · 1300 363 992 · enquiries@oaic.gov.au.

Nothing in this policy limits any right or remedy available to you under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Consumer Law, or any other law that cannot be excluded by agreement.
